Six Pence Pub, Savannah, GA

If your looking for some good food downtown Savannah, Georgia, I highly recommend Six Pence Pub on Bull Street.

In my opinion, there are so many places to eat downtown Savannah, and a large quantity of them are tourist traps.

At Six Pence, the food is awesome, the english pub atmosphere is fun, and the service is good. It’s hard to find all three of those points in one place!

Went to lunch with the family and was pretty excited because I remembered that they have really good french onion soup, but ended up getting one of the special soups of the day, potato leek. I also had the Salmon salad and shared some Creme Brulee for dessert.

Try a Black Velvet!  It’s a Guinness Stout layered on top of a Strongbow Cider in the same glass. It’s pretty delicious and really cuts down on the heaviness of the Guinness.

The restaurant is very close to Chippewa Square so you can take a little stroll after, and there’s a really good coffee shop across the street called Gallery Espresso. I always go over there after a really good lunch downtown. They have a yummy Baklava and Espresso!
